UCF Fall 2012

Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for everyone that is applying for UCF's BSN program which will begin this Fall, 2012. I think this would be a great place for everyone to share their concerns, nerves about waiting, or questions. :)

So, how is everyone? Which campus are you applying to?

I meant the nursing program. The accelerated program starts in the summer. It was my first choice, but being that the nursing program anywhere is really competitive I'm not picky. I'm 0-3 right now with nursing schools. Being denied is not something I'm used to. I have a Bachelors and Masters, and I'm pretty smart, just didn't make the cut. Hopefully I will the second time around :)

So I have been lurking on these threads for years as I have been slowly completing my per-requisites, I applied for the fall for the nursing program and have not heard back yet. However, I did get an email saying I was accepted to the university for the fall. Is this the consensus with everyone else? Did anyone else find out about the fall yet either nursing or just university related? Thanks in advance I'm just starting my march freakout....

I am new here. I just found this useful website and wish I could know it earlier. I review all of the message and it's really useful and there are many new info.... I am so glad to know this network website.

I am applying for fall 2012 and I wish everyone here could get the good news soon. So, someday we can meet in the campus....

We should hear in the next 2 weeks-for summer it was the friday of the 7th week. I'm anxious....but since I wasn't even waitlisted for the summer I feel like I have no shot. I guess there's always Spring semester. Good Luck to everyone!

From my understanding I believe the 23rd would be too soon for the acceptance e-mail. I don't know about any of you, but I'm on pins and needles right now and it's certainly been a distraction for me at work :( Anyhoot, please let me know if any of you are down!

I say Friendly Confines on March 30th (because I believe that will be the day due to previous years timeframes between Accelerated and Basic decisions).

By the way, this did make me alot less nervous......When I called the CON they told me they only have about 450-500 applicants, this number seems to be alot better than the 700-800 I was thinking it would be.

Well if it's the same time frame as Summer '12 it should be the 7th week which is April 6th.....but March 23 or 30 sounds better to me :)

Question: From the info sessions, does anyone remember which GPA they look at? I can finally see my audit, but I only have two GPAs listed: a "University Req" and a "prerequisites." I feel like he said UCF GPA, which still isn't showing up for me.

This makes me a little less nervous....But every time my phone goes off and I have an email, my heart jumps a little!
