UCF Fall 2012
From my understanding I believe the 23rd would be too soon for the acceptance e-mail. I don't know about any of you, but I'm on pins and needles right now and it's certainly been a distraction for me at work Anyhoot, please let me know if any of you are down! GG

I'm dropping mine off on the day of the deadline. I'll let you guys know my number. I requested an application from UCF for the concurrent only yesterday. Wonder if I'll make it in time since it takes 2-3 business days for them to send a password. uggghh...

UCF Fall 2012
Here’s to the “number’s game”: UCF-Orlando, Applicant for Fall 2012 Previous BFA from SAIC Overall GPA: 3.85 Pre-Reqs: 4.0 TEAS: 84% So I’ve picked up this unhealthy habit of monitoring this site on a regular basis right before I go to bed and I never make it to bed at a reasonable hour. Unfortunately, it created some anxiety for the past two months, but tonight I have realized the tremendous support and comradery that exists through this server. I have quoted many of you on several occasions to my academic advisors, family, and friends and none of them get it—the application process for the Nursing program at UCF takes an emotional toll on all applicants. With that said, I’m Georgette and if anyone wants to get together and have a March Freak out party and just vent I am definitely down. Otherwise, thanks for all your posts. It is certainly a relief to see there are real people behind all the exceptional GPAs and TEAS scores. If that makes any sense :)

Seminole State Spring 2012 Generic/Concurrent Applicant
Hey, I am also trying to create a log of Denied vs. Acceptance percentages. I am wondering if this is an endless pursuit like you say it is. To be honest, this whole application process is creeping me out...i'm creeping myself out, rather. Like, why in the elf's name am I tracking logs on a nursing bloggers forum?!! The anxiety towards the acceptance ratio leads me to this site, which in turn exacerbates my anxiety reading everyone elses' concerns/hesitations. And the vicious cycle ensues... However, I found a common trait in most of the pre-nursing students on this forum; many of us are perfectionists. Only the top 10% of college students in the nation receive average GPA scores in our ballpark. Therefore, one can hypothesize that nurses are the top of the crop!! I cannot wait for the nursing program experience. :)
