UCF Fall 2012

Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for everyone that is applying for UCF's BSN program which will begin this Fall, 2012. I think this would be a great place for everyone to share their concerns, nerves about waiting, or questions. :)

So, how is everyone? Which campus are you applying to?

Does anybody know whether applicants will be notified through mail or email?.. ...Because in the past week I have been frantically running back home from work to check my mail. I can imagine how anxious the rest of us are. Yes, fingers crossed! :)

you will get an email-on a friday-from 4:30 pm on.....lol at least that's how it was this past summer.

I'm still waiting on my acceptance to the university. I had to reactivate from the summer term....which I was accepted to, so I don't understand what takes so long. Hopefully it won't pose a problem with the school of nursing.....

I had to reactivate, too. I had applied to the Spring term. I just got my response on my.ucf.edu on Sunday evening. Im sure your response is coming soon!

My nerves are shot....I think a margarita is prescribed for all this frantic waiting. Maybe even a happy hour 2-for-1 special.

I received this at 4:12 today

"After carefully reviewing your information available to use we have determined that you have not met the minimum eligibility requirements and therefore we must deny your request for admission."

I took the TEAS and scored a 84%. I'm currently taking 2 of the last prereqs needed for the program and my overall GPA is 3.56. So I don't understand. I called before I submitted the application asking about completing the 7/8 prereq before applying and I was told that it was fine that I was currently taking the last 2. And that i'd still be considering for the program. I emailed an advisor to ask for an explanation so hopefully i'll hear something by Monday. Good Luck everyone!

aww I'm sorry, so do you technically only have 6 pre-reqs done? I hope someone didn't give you wrong information. Good luck! keep us posted!
