UCF 2013 Fall-Orlando generic BSN applicants?

Starting a thread for others applying to this program!

Oh, I would wait with the shoes until you get more info. Since they are switching to black pants they might change the color of shoes, too...just a thought. If I remember ask next week if they decided on that and let you guys know :)

Yes that's a possibility that with the new uniforms they may require black instead of white shoes. Please let us know :)

Thanks for the heads up on labs. I need to set up a babysitter/after care. I was hoping to meet other parents in the program so we could have study group/play dates and trade babysitting on clinicals days.

Perfect! See, we could all get a study group going and let the little ones have movie and popcorn night and play!

My daughter is 3.5 and just finally got the potty training thing down.

Yay for black pants! But my son is 4 months and a little more maintenance :( but its nice to have other moms to study with! I wouldn't feel so uncomfortable.

Honestly pre-reqs were easier for me when my daughter was smaller. Even though at 4 months they're feeding more often, they nap more and aren't mobile. Last semester was more difficult to study at home and do schoolwork with my daughter getting into everything, wanting my full attention, trying to go on my computer hitting keys and ripping pages out of my textbooks.

Yes, I hate to break it to you, but 4 months is actually less maintenance. When they walk and talk, and demand your attention constantly, there is no studying to be had until after they go to bed. My daughter got into all of my books, drew me pictures on my printed homework, and now tells me that I'm hurting her feelings when I don't stop what I'm doing to play with her. I miss the days I could pop her in the swing and read! :)

I miss that too! Just put them in the swing with a little music and you could do ANYTHING lol

My lil one won't nap anymore so like mrsbacktoschool said, quiet time/study time is after she goes to bed for the night.
