Woot!!! UCF Accelerated BSN May 2013, here I come!!!

Woo Hoo!!!! What a great day this turned out to be. I'm so so so excited to start in May! My letter is already scanned and emailed, so I can't wait to get started on the to-do list! Congrats everyone who got in, and congrats everyone on the waitlist. Just you wait, there will be some shuffling around! Everyone here is great, smart, and can do this.

Congrats to everyone that got an interview invite!!! I'm sure everyone here will do great! I'm headed to the Accelerated program so there is one less applicant in the pool. Remember to not freak out about the interview- it is super friendly and not there to scare you. Most people dressed in a suit or a blazer/slacks/skirt combo. Be open, honest, keep your answers direct. You'll all do great, I'm sure!!!

Exactly. I applied to both and hoped I would get fair, independent consideration for both programs. I heard the basic is harder to get into, with about 600 applicants or more each year.

So did you get a basic invite??? I didn't.

That's just mean. They shouldn't have told us they were meeting on Tuesday if they were going to wait so darn long!

I've kind of been preparing myself for that.

That's terrible. I'm not in the application to USF, but that would be horrible to possibly lose a spot at one school because you are waiting on another one that really should have had decisions out by now. I'm so sorry for the stress those people must be feeling. Stay strong everyone. This day will come to an end one way or another.

No changes on Certified Background either. Darn. I'm sure they won't change that until we give them a yes/no but I was still hoping for a clue.

I was hoping it would be out by noonish or 1pm because a lot of businesses close early for Good Friday. That would have been a miracle. :)
