I haven't seen a thread for this application cycle yet, so thought I'd start one.

Hi everyone!

I have one unrelated question.

I have zero experience with taking loans to pay for school during Summer sessions. Being that this program would be a Summer start, does anyone know if federal student loans are a possibility during Summer sessions?

Yes they are! At least from my experience

Are anyones grades still processing? I see on the UCF website my grades are still processing for months now. ?

mine also says "pending" on the transcript verification. It's super nerve wracking for sure, haha. I submitted my app closer to the deadline (Jan 11) so I have been attributing it to me being late.

At the bottom of the page it says that changes to the checklist is made when an advisor actually goes in and looks at the stuff. I'm hoping mine will change soon! Has anyone contacted the admissions department about this?

Hey so I contacted [email protected] at the registrar’s office regarding my grades still processing on the transfer credit evaulation and she processed them the same day. However, she said she didn’t receive my transcript for another school I sent credits from as well and advised me to contact admissions. So basically there are two departments that process grades and from my experience the process is quicker when you contact them by email. I would not call because when I did I waited an hour just to be given Theresa Burns email. Not sure if its different for me because I attended UCF a few years back, but this is my current experience.

My prereqs are still pending too and I applied on the 1st. I emailed her this morning and she has yet to reply. How long did it take for her to apply?

I emailed at 1:36pm EST and then got an automatic email back. I got an email from undergraduate admissions (even though I emailed the suggested email above). They said my fall 2020 grades were just put in today and that it should look in 24-48 hours.

She replied within an hour to me and told me she processed my grades for USF and I should see them post that day.

That is really odd. I emailed about 2pm and never even got an automatic email back. I am going to resend the email again. Maybe I sent it to the wrong email by accident.

I got the automatic reply too and than she responded within an hour. But that’s good news, from what I seen once they say they put them in they post that day or the next day. Mines posted the same day.

I don't get it ? I sent it to that same email address you sent in here and im not getting any reply's back.

Hey guys so let’s say we are applying to the second degree, the traditional (cocoa and Daytona) AND the Valencia/ucf concurrent program just in case. Since we applied to UCF for Summer because the ABSN was first, we don't need to apply separately for the fall semester too? Like would it mess it up for the other programs if we applied to ucf for the Summer since the others start in fall? I’m going to apply RN to Valencia for fall. Just in case

Consider all three applications independent of each other; they should not impact each other negatively as they are separate applications. Each one must be completed separately.

Be aware of this, though: I believe the concurrent program has a more in-depth application process involving a paper form. I am only applying to the accelerated program, so I don't know much more about the concurrent program than that.
