UCF ABSN 2021

I haven't seen a thread for this application cycle yet, so thought I'd start one.

It wasn't bad! I ended up getting an 87 which is a little bit lower than I wanted but hopefully, it's competitive enough to get me in somewhere haha!

That’s a great score! Did you purchase any of the practice exams? My test date is coming soon and I’m wondering if I should splurge and buy the practice exam set.

I didn't and totally wish I did. I'd say go for it. The practice tests I did for the HESI were really helpful for that, but not doing any for the TEAS definitely made it more difficult when I was faced with different questions.

Ohhh I see thank you for this advice. I think I will purchase them then. I did practice questions for HESI and it also helped so it would make sense to also do it for TEAS.

I appreciate your insight ?

FYI; if anyone is looking to purchase it, there is a sale on the ATI website for the practice exam bundle. There’s a code that you can find on the page for 20% off (not sure if I can share it here).

Hello all, I am also applying for UCF's ABSN program. I also have not yet been fully admitted to the school, which is frustrating because I submitted my application in the fall and nerve wracking because the ABSN application closes the 15th. Ugh! Anyone else having the same problem?

Hey everyone, I am planning on retaking the TEAS test next Wednesday and wanted to know if I’m cutting it to close since the period ends Jan 15. Does the score update automatically online? I took the TEAS back in 2019 and got a 76.7 and just noticed I need a 78 ? I don’t know how that flew over my head. I even sent those scores to UCF thinking I was fine.

Hi, if you’re planning on retaking the TEAS I would recommend taking it before the 11th! It takes time for them to receive everything and to check it over

Alrighty I’ll give a try. I’m applying to USF, UNF (my TEAS works for them), FAU, NOVA, and Miami Uni for the ABSN so hopefully I get into one ?

I spoke to an advisor about this. The test date just needs to be dated on or before jan 15th. If you take it at home, they give you the score immediately for you application and it's fine if UCF gets it after the application window closes as long as it's time date stamped from ATI as being taken by jan 15th. Good luck

Thank you Giena! That really calmed my nerves down and now I have a few more days to study.

I would definitely email/call the registrar's office to see what's going on with your application. That's what I did and my application got processed immediately after the break.
