I haven't seen a thread for this application cycle yet, so thought I'd start one.

Hi Kelsey,

I had to do it over the fall and it's basically just writing a one paragraph explaining your situation and then attaching the petition document. It took them about a week to two weeks to get back to me and approve the petition. Hope this helps!

Good to know! Thank you for sharing.

On the application it says to list 7 prerequisite courses already completed. Did you guys just list 7 or all 8 prerequisites required?

I went ahead and listed all 8on mine.

Ah OK! I guess it wouldn't hurt to list them all. Thanks!

Does anyone know if there's a chance you can still get accepted if you didn't get higher than 78% on the TEAS?

My virtual information session said that they did accept a TEAS of 78 but that the individual probably had a 4.0 GPA in the other 3 categories.

Thanks! That's kind of you to say. Good luck to you!! I'll email them tomorrow and see what I can find out.

Please let me know what they say!! I was going to email them too, but they probably get soooo many

Hi! I'm taking my TEAS tomorrow and I'm so nervous!! Any pointers on the test?

I just saw this now! I'm so sorry I didn't get to it before your test. How did it go?

It wasn't bad! I ended up getting an 87 which is a little bit lower than I wanted but hopefully, it's competitive enough to get me in somewhere haha!

They said we're allowed to apply to both. So, on Feb 1-15, we can submit an application to the traditional BSN, just not the one in Orlando.

Dang thats good to know! So it’s cocoa or daytona? And we don't need to apply into a diff semester we just have to come on here and apply for that program as well in early feb wow

Yep! Looks like you will be able to check both on the application if you'd like to be considered for both. And it sounds like if you're accepted for the Summer you should be fine to apply for the fall. She didn't mention anything about re-applying to UCF just that it's a 6-8 week decision timeline so you'd find out if you got into the second degree program after applying to the traditional one
