UCF ABSN 2021

I haven't seen a thread for this application cycle yet, so thought I'd start one. 

Hey guys I’m just curious- what is everybody’s first choice school and why?

Ucf. Location to my house, cost, and it's an ABSN. I didn't even bother applying anywhere else.

Ahh it'll be okay, @nursinggirl2021, you've got this! I'm sure that if you got an A and a B in two different flavors of a class, the advisors would be reasonable and would want you to use the one where you got an A. You paid tuition, spent the time studying, and got an A. It was just an honest mix-up of the course numbers—a mistake that any of us could've made.

Does anyone know how heavy overall GPA is looked at by UCF?

I think it's maybe as important as the TEAS. (?) I have heard an advisor say that they allowed someone in with the bare passing TEAS score (78) because they were a 4.0 in everything else and vice versa, a 95.7 TEAS score got in even though the GPA overall was bare minimum (3.0)....Just my guess though.

I am so happy! UCF approved my prereq petition so now I am fully eligible ahh! I also got an interview from UNF so fingers crossed! I am so nervous and excited but things r looking up!!

For me, UF but UCF is a close second. UCF feels so unattainable- I'm trying to not get my hopes up if I don't get in.

Yeah I feel that! I am also trying to not get my hopes up but at the same time I am trying to be positive

That's fair! I really did way more poorly on my TEAS than I was hoping for.

 

I bet you'll get in, though! From your posts, it seems you have a great attitude and are a great applicant. Good luck!

Aww thank you so much! You’re so kind. You are a great applicant too! I think you have a better chance thank you think at getting into UCF/UF
