I haven't seen a thread for this application cycle yet, so thought I'd start one.

I spoke to the woman in charge of all the 2nd degree applications and she told me more. I think she said over 350 applications she had processed so far and that was 2 weeks ago.

That is much more than last year. Last year was 268 applications.

I know ?....but she also mentioned that she oversees the traditional track along with 2 other people (one who is on parental leave at the moment, so she only counted him for half a person LOL. So basically there are 2.5 people doing the traditional (her words) and her also doing the 2nd degree. So I'm not sure if the 350 is just for our track or she was telling me what she's personally gone throughso far in total. She did say she had gone through most of the 2nd degree applications at that point though. So I'm assuming we may get out answers by the end of Feb. Fingers crossed.

So crazy how fast time went. I’m anxious to hear. I wish they told us about fall track earlier

If that was two weeks ago, there probably weren’t so many traditional applications yet because traditional applications started from Feb 1 -15.  I think probably after 10 days we will hear something. I am so anxious now.
She said she went through most of the 2nd degree applications. Does that mean they already have decisions?

From what she explained to me is that they triple check every application. I'm assuming the will make their decisions once all the applications are processed and put in order. I'm assuming they arrange them from highest scores to lowest and then just count 70-72 from the top. So I doubt they had made any decisions at that time.

You’re right. And some of those fall applications could be people applying to Summer term too

Yeah And I think we have to wait until they change our application to say “eligible” because that means they went back to check it a second-third time. Has anyone’s said that yet ?

Specializes in ER.

I finally have all green check marks and my app says "under review," so still not "eligible" yet.
