UC Health, Centura, Children’s Hospital Colorado Summer 2020

Hi there,

just thought I’d start a page for anyone that’s applied to University of Colorado, Centura or Children’s Hospital Colorado New Grad Nurse Residencies for the Summer 2020 Cohorts. I’ve applied to all 3 and am just looking for others to connect with!

No, but I heard centura took a pretty big hit during covid and may not be hiring anymore people ☹️

They’ve had to lay a bunch of people off. UCH isn’t at that point, but they aren’t hiring as many new grads as they normally would

What unit did you interview for? A friend of mine heard back that she didn’t get it, but it was for oncology. I am not sure about other units.

Hello,

I applied to Colorado Springs and Metro Denver UCH positions. I had an interview for Cardiac PCU position in Springs two weeks ago. I also had an interviewed last week for Metro Denver and I am expecting to hear back from them this week.
