UC Denver Traditional Program 2018

Published

Hello Everyone!

I thought it would be a good idea to post a forum for anyone who is applying to the University of Denver Traditional nursing program. I just finished my application about two weeks ago and I was wondering who all have done the same!?

I noticed it is a different schedule for interviews this year, it is much later now. We don't do interviews till January 12th and then we find out around February 15th.

Has anyone ever applied before? This is my first time.

Alyssa

I received one as well!! Congrats guys--one step closer!

Does anyone know, for financial aid, which FASFA we fill out?

Hi everyone! I just found this forum the other day and was following it but hadn't signed up yet because I wanted to wait til I got the email. I got an interview too!! Woo hoo! Congrats to everyone!! I'm from IL so I will be road tripping it out there for the interview. So excited andddd nervous as well! :) Anyone know any info about the interview besides what they said in the email? Like what kind of questions? If it's individual interviews or group? What size group? Etc etc. Thanks!

See ya'll there!!

Glad I found this thread as I received an email for an interview yesterday too! I'm excited and nervous! Does anyone know how many people they accept into the program? On their website it says 25%, is that 25% of people who apply?

Hi rdig I got your private message but I can't respond because I guess you have to do like 15 posts or something in order to activate being able to do private messaging. I dunno when I will get that many posts done. So, I'm just going to respond to you on here. Honestly, I'm not sure $ wise yet, but will prob look into scholarships for sure.

Silly you have to do 15 posts before messaging privately. Should be like 5.

Curious how many of you have degrees in other fields already or were working in another field and decided to switch to pursue nursing? There are so many paths that can lead us to this nursing pursuit!

I got the interview as well! See you all there.

I know that it is a group interview and you do a group activity as well that is about teamwork.

They also ask everyone their own question as well. This is just what I have heard from previous friends who got into CU or got an interview.

I got an interview too! Thank God. Congratulations to all of you. We are one step closer.

I used to work as an EMT for about 5 yrs but have been a stay at home mom for the past 2 years. I do already have a bachelors in Kinesiology from almost 10 yrs ago so I had to retake most of the prerequisites.

Graduated in 2011 with a bachelors in Political Science.
