UC Denver Traditional Program 2018

Published

Hello Everyone!

I thought it would be a good idea to post a forum for anyone who is applying to the University of Denver Traditional nursing program. I just finished my application about two weeks ago and I was wondering who all have done the same!?

I noticed it is a different schedule for interviews this year, it is much later now. We don't do interviews till January 12th and then we find out around February 15th.

Has anyone ever applied before? This is my first time.

Alyssa

Hello all, I am in the program already and was accepted through the integrated nursing pathway. I can't speak to what this year will be like but my fiance is applying and waiting just like all of you. It will be group interviews and they will be asking questions to all of you. Just shine. A few of us who are already in the program will be there helping with the interview day. Good luck to all!

I'm assuming we'll find out this week if we made it to the interviews. The email said decisions would be made by mid-December so fingers crossed!

Hi! I have also applied to the program... has anyone heard back yet? Hopefully should be in the next few days!

I spoke with someone in the advising office today and she said they were finalizing decisions and thinks they'll go out sometime next week.

Not leaving a lot of room for people coming out of state to make travel arrangements.

Thanks for the update @rdig!

I submitted my application back in October-- I just finished all of my pre-requisites this semester. I am definitely excited for the opportunity, and am anxiously waiting word from CU! Good luck to everyone!

I've now been told that decisions on interviews will be out by the end of next week (Dec 29th). Not sure in what world that qualifies as "mid-December", but there you have it. I went ahead and booked a refundable plane ticket just in case. I don't want to wait any longer as airfare is only going to get more expensive the closer we get.

Oh man, well then I should probably stop checking my email like a crazy person, haha! I am guessing they are waiting on final grades to post before making decisions? Best of luck!

That is insane. How can they say "mid-december" and the decisions come out by the 29th.

I am out of state too and airfares are definitely not cheap!

Thinking about booking the flight just in case as well....

Guys i just received an email for my interview!

Go check your emails!

I just received an email, too - I'll see you on interview day!!

Omg same! The lady I spoke with obviously had incorrect information.

Congrats to everyone who made it to the interview stage! There's a morning and afternoon session, but the email said to plan on arriving at 7:30am so I'm flying in the night before to be safe.
