UC Davis RN residency July/Oct 2015

Hi! Was wondering if anyone received any interview calls yet?

Also...will they be interviewing right now for October cohort too? Does anyone know?

Well, they are definitely interviewing candidates. I should also note that they typically interview candidates all the way up until a couple of weeks before the start date for each cohort. Please do keep in mind however that because your application says "routed," doesn't confirm that a manager has received your application or that yours has actually been routed at all. The application statuses are extremely generic; they apply to the whole group in general and not on a specific individual basis.

Where did you hear that from about the status? I sent an email to the nursing recruitment coordinator today and he said that "routed" means that it actually has been sent to managers review. They will call to interview if they are interested.

It specifically states on the UC Davis RN Residency information webpage under Frequently Asked Questions that all application statuses are generic and "does not necessarily reflect the status of your application."

Thank you! I forgot about that part of the website. I wish statuses weren't generic so we know where we stand. :(

Sorry that you were given incorrect information.

Hey all! Received a call on the 6th for an interview in the NICU. Good luck to everyone!

No worries! I hate it too! So frustrating!

Don't give up hope folks. Myself along with many others did not receive an invite for an interview until very late in the process. Personally I received my offer less than two weeks till the start date. At one point I had completely given up as I watched some classmates get interview invites. Be patient and hope for the best!!

sv714, is your interview coming up soon? Was hoping to hear from them, but the 6th was a while ago! Curious when the actual interviews will be to see if I still have a shot at being called :-/

Hi Dracaena828, the interview is next week. Like some mentioned above and in similar posts, I think the interview invites depend on the units, so I think it is safe to say that not all units have begun or finished the interview process..so there is still time!

Ok, I'll just keep my fingers crossed! I have another question. Did anyone else apply before graduation and have to check uncompleted for their degree in the application? I finished about a week after I turned it in, and am hoping that didn't get me screened out of the process. I wrote clearly on my resume as well as in the cover letter when my anticipated graduation date was, but I don't know if they would even look at the document if their system showed my degree wasn't completed.
