UC Davis RN Residency February 2014

Hello! I just wanted to start a thread regarding the residency starting in February 2014 at UCDMC. Applications opened at midnight this morning. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Had my new hire paperwork completed last week. HR said they had 41 positions and counting. Some units were turning in their interview requests late (due to being busy and new grad hiring not being their priority). I think he said they're hoping to get all the new hire paperwork completed by this week, which makes sense considering program starts next Monday.

Out of curiosity, is anyone else hired from SoCal? Please PM me!! I'm moving tomorrow and I'm already feeling homesick! It would be great to commiserate with someone! :)

Hi there, I was just wondering if those who have applied to UCD in the past have received rejection emails? I have applied to 2-3 previous cohorts but have never received anything.

Has anyone here applied to the 2015 Nurse Residencies and heard back yet? I see that the status still says "020-Appl"

I think the status should have changed to routed, that's what mine says, and from what I have read from previous posts these updates are generic and are applied to all of the applicants. But have not heard of anyone scheduling an interview yet. Has anybody?

I saw that it now says routed now. Haven't heard back yet, but I'll update you guys if I do hear back.

Hello, I realize this is nearly 2 years later, but I just got an interview call for the 2016 cohort in the GI Lab. Can you share any insights on the interview process for that unit?

I talked to to a lady to schedule an interview and decided to pick next Monday as I have prior commitments on Wednesday :/

I really hope it doesn't affect my chances. :X

But did you decide to interview this Wednesday/Monday? :)
