@bos12 @gotta'lovenurses Float pool! The person I spoke to said she needs to call everyone because there are a lot of out of towners. So I have yet to find out where and what time exactly. Hope you hear from them!

I received a call yesterday for an interview next week as a new graduate for the nicu!!!! Does anyone have any advice for the interview? Has anyone else been called for nicu?

Got a call back for skills survey today for the trauma unit. I know there are 3 spots available. Who else got a skills survey call for the 14th floor as a top candidate?

I also know that when I interviewed the panel said a lot of people are having issues with BRN, some interviewed without an ATT yet. Some had a test date but I heard it takes longer for your license to post to know if you passed NCLEX.

I received a call yesterday for an interview next week as a new graduate for the nicu!!!! Does anyone have any advice for the interview? Has anyone else been called for nicu?

I started as a new graduate in the NICU. My advice is to be yourself, and remain calm. Honestly, I was super calm, and it was my best interview ever. I was the only new grad to be hired those 2 months that had not precepted in the unit. (There were 4 of us new grands hired within 2 months. This was shortly before the new grad program started...Things are different now.) I'm pretty sure my calmness, and honesty are the key things that helped get me hired.

Good luck, it is a FANTASTIC place to start. I no longer work there, since I was hired in a NICU closer to home, but at times I miss working there, and I miss the nurse there a lot.
