Duke 2014 Nurse Residency Program
So I just got an email saying that I will not be extended an offer. I'm really surprised since I was told last Thursday that it will take weeks. I really hope it's not because I bombed the interview at some point! =/ Guess I have to keep applying elsewhere...

Duke 2014 Nurse Residency Program
Sorry, I meant just for the Transport Team! Good luck ConzRN! I truly think you will love every minute of the interview process. At no point did I feel like I was being put on the spot. Like everyone has been saying, just be yourself. Everyone at Duke is very welcoming and supportive!

Duke 2014 Nurse Residency Program
I just interviewed for the Transport Team yesterday! It was such an amazing opportunity! Originally I was told interviews would be ending this week, but yesterday I was told they will be interviewing for an additional 2 weeks... for only 3 positions! yikes! Best of luck to everyone!

Duke 2014 Nurse Residency Program
@ConzRN Clinical Transport Team was not an option. But they are accepting new grads so my resume was forwarded there. Still not sure why, but I sent an email asking earlier today. I've been wondering the same thing with the interviews. I set up mine today and was told the first two hours will be shadowing followed by a 1 hour interview. Good luck! Where are you guys traveling from?

Duke 2014 Nurse Residency Program
Hello everyone, I decided to start a thread for the Duke University Hospital residency program. I'm also looking for some advice as well. I'm not 100% sure of the application process, (maybe I'm thinking about other program I've applied to) but I remember being able select our 1st and 2nd choice. I'm pretty sure if this is the case that I selected pediatrics. Well I just received an email form Duke to interview for the Clinical Transport Team. I'm thrilled to have gotten an interview, but does this mean my application was never forwarded to my choices? Is anyone else in the same boat?

UC Davis RN Residency February 2014
Do you guys think all candidates have been contacted for interviews? I'm still holding onto hope that nurse managers from other departments are procrastinating. What do you think?

UC Davis RN Residency February 2014
I don't know about you guys, but I've been dying to hear back from UC Davis! I spoke with someone from nurse recruitment (I think) and was told that applications will be looked through this week. They will then be forwarded to managers on the floors that are hiring, screened and then those who are still in the running will be contacted for interviews. Interviews will be conducted at the end of the month or beginning of February. Hope that helps!!! Also, they received 900+ application!

Does anyone have an idea of when we can expect to hear about interviews?

My status actually changed to "Routed to interviewing supervisor" about a week before I was contacted for the interview. I'm sure this varies between departments though.

UCLA New Grad RN Winter 2014
Hi everyone! I received an email on 12/21 for interview for the PICU!! I had applied for PICU, Peds, and NICU. And I just graduated this semester. I noticed that the required documents included a copy of CA license or interim permit. Since I just graduated, I still need to take a review course and won't likely sit for my boards until after my interview. Has anyone else been in this situation? And does anyone know what the start date of the residency program is? Also, does anyone know if the interview is knowledge based or if it's more of a personality assessment? I'm trying to prepare as much as I can right now!
