  1. Hello, I realize this is nearly 2 years later, but I just got an interview call for the 2016 cohort in the GI Lab. Can you share any insights on the interview process for that unit? I will share that with the folks on the 2016 thread. Thank you!

  3. Hello all, Just joining the thread. I did my preceptorship in the ICU, but got an interview for the GI Lab (I saw a few folks got calls for that dept). I have no info about the panel interview, and couldn't find anything about GI Lab from previous cohorts. Good luck, everyone!
  4. Thank you for this great advice, Tis me! I will certainly keep this in mind :)
  5. Thank you so much for spelling out the mysteries of the salary question, Nurse Beth! It helps to know where I stand as a new grad and what to expect as I'm applying for jobs. It makes sense that salaries would be based on experience.
  6. I had the same question and have been thrown off by the contradictory information between the steps according to Perry & Potter's Clinical Nursing Skills and the Saunders Q+ A. However, she also states that the NCLEX will ask you to apply and will never ask you for the order of donning / removing PPE. Unfortunately, most practice tests do have such questions. So I'm still wary.
