UC Davis Nurse Residency Program - Fall 2021

Hello,

Applications are open for the fall start of the Nurse Residency at UC Davis. I wanted to start the forum to discuss what unit(s) applicants are interested in, where are you from, etc. I submitted my application already and if anyone has any questions regarding the process, I'd be happy to help.

Don’t give up just yet, my friend who went through the program a few years ago didn’t get her interview request until around this time in July & she started in the October cohort that year. So there still may be a chance. I’m not sure about when her status changed though because she had given up too and stopped checking. ?? Good luck to you!!

Was your friend applied for OR? I need someone to walk me thru this process ?

Hi Everyone ? Congrats to those who were offering positions for the August cohort! I'm ecstatic for you!! 

I was just wondering if anyone had received a call for the October cohort? That's when I can start, but if everyone already interviewed I don't want to keep my hopes up.

Also P.S. did those of you who were offered positions complete your preceptorship/internship at UC Davis?

Any updates on October cohort interviews? My application was routed for further consideration forever ago, never heard anything from August cohort. Wondering when I should quit expecting a call for October.
