UC Davis Nurse Residency Program - Fall 2021

Hello,

Applications are open for the fall start of the Nurse Residency at UC Davis. I wanted to start the forum to discuss what unit(s) applicants are interested in, where are you from, etc. I submitted my application already and if anyone has any questions regarding the process, I'd be happy to help.

Hi Friends, 

I am curious if anyone applied for the OR residency with UCD? My app has been under review for quite some time and wondering if anyone has interviewed for an OR position with them yet? Would love some insight. Thank you!!

For anyone that had an interview for the October Cohort, did you get a specific date for when the decisions would be made? When I asked during my interview, they gave a general, “mid-September” timeline.

Just got a call for float pool. Interview tomorrow! I think this is the last hiring batch for the October cohort

Accepted a position in the MSICU last Friday! Anyone else starting in the October cohort? I’d love to get a fb group going to meet you all!

I accepted a position in L&D services today! I think a facebook group is a great idea ?

I just started a FB group! It’s called “UCDMC Nurse Residency (Oct. 2021)” 

I have automatic member approvals on for right now ?

Hey sorry about that! I couldn't grab the link off my phone, but here's the one from my laptop: https://www.facebook.com/groups/338343031371350

Let me know if that works! It's currently set to "private" but "visible." I was able to turn on automatic member approvals if you answer one question.
