UC Davis MEPN 2017

Hi all,

Anyone applying to the UC Davis MEPN program starting 2017? I'm finally taking the plunge and applying to masters entry programs/ABSN programs this year after being out of undergrad for nearly 3 years.

Looking forward to starting a conversation and hope we can use this space as a media to offer support to one another!

I'm really loving it! The people they chose for my cohort are fantastic. The clinical experiences are awesome and meaningful (and also really fun...I've genuinely liked each placement I've had!)

I should mention that I was a waitlisted admission, so for those of you that were accepted to the waitlist, don't give up hope!

Being waitlisted and finding out later, did that hurt your request for financial aid at all? If that's ok to ask! Thank you!

I don't think it impacted financial aid or scholarships.

This thread has gotten quieter lately so I thought I'd chime in and say I'm on the waitlist. I got a similar message about how the waitlist works. They did say it was a "small pool of applicants," but who knows how small is small. If you're on the waitlist please comment so maybe we can get an idea of how many others there are!

I am currently wait listed as well! Last year I got my acceptance letter in October and was notified 2 weeks ago about the waitlist. So, so far it seems there's 4 of us?

Sorry, I haven't checked this in a while. I was told I was on the waitlist in the middle of March, and was admitted 3 or 4 weeks after. We had a much shorter application window, though, with our final apps due the end of January and acceptances sent out around march 15.
