UC Davis MEPN 2017

Published

Hi all,

Anyone applying to the UC Davis MEPN program starting 2017? I'm finally taking the plunge and applying to masters entry programs/ABSN programs this year after being out of undergrad for nearly 3 years.

Looking forward to starting a conversation and hope we can use this space as a media to offer support to one another!

I think we should hear back around or after March 15 when the final day to accept/deny will be.

That's what I was thinking as well. I know that us students on the waitlist have to accept/deny our waitlist position by March 15th, I wasn't sure if accepted students have this same deadline?

I think it makes sense if the students who got offered a spot has the same/close date to our waitlist deadline date. If that's the case, then after the 16th we should start hearing back from the program.

Has anyone on the waitlist heard back?

I haven't heard back. They're probably still evaluating those on the waitlist.

Hi all!

I was also waitlisted and just recently got my acceptance last week. :)

Hi all!

Congrats! They did give you a date to accept/deny by just like the waitlist?

Thanks!

Actually they didn't give me a date to accept by. When I received a notice via email, it just said congrats and please click here to accept/decline acceptance. I breezed through the fine print!

Hi,

I was waitlisted also and received an acceptance email on March 8th. Thank Godí ½í¹Œí ¼í¿½

Sounds like they are still accepting people off the waitlist so don't lose hope.

I have just received my acceptance email! I have until May 15th to accept my position. Good luck to those on the waitlist!

Congrats everyone! Don't forget to join our Facebook Page. Search "UC Davis MEPN Cohort 2."

Those of you who submitted a FAFSA and qualified for aid in undergraduate. How are you planning on paying for the $93,000 in tuition/fees? The price seems crazy high for a program that results in RN. UCLA's MECN is around $50k.

Are you going to be taking out the $20k in federal loans each year and then private for the rest?
