UC Davis Medical Center Nurse Residency Spring 2020

Updated:   Published

Hi all!

Starting this thread so those of us who are applying to the program can keep everyone else updated.

Good luck!

I spoke to HR, they said they were having major issues with their application software. There was apparently a big problem with about half of the applications due to new software. They said it will be a while before anyone gets routed.

Oh awesome! Thank You for the update! Also anyone know how the feb or April cohort gets decided? I don’t remember putting which cohort I preferred but I know this round of applicants get either February start date or April.

A friend of mine just got a call! Her status has not changed. It’s happening! ? Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

How exciting! Do you know which floor she received the call from?

Oh amazing! Did she get a call to interview? For new grad or OR residency do you know?

It was to schedule an interview for the new grad program. Hoping for a call soon!

That’s awesome! Sounds different than they have done in the past - they used to route you to the unit manager then call. Hope we all get a call soon!

Has anyone else received a call or change in status?

Nothing yet. Hoping things are just slow due to the Holidays...

My status changed from "received" to "under review" for the new grad program. Prob. means nothing though.

Still sitting with 'application received' over here, hmm! Patience is a virtue, right??

Hey all!

Does anyone know who to call to follow up? Or has anyone else's status changed? Mine still says received.
