Does anyone know if UCD takes new grads in the ED for sure? Like has anyone know someone who has been offered a new grad position in the ED?

Just had UC Davis recruiters at our school’s career fair tell one of my classmates who precepted in the ED:

In the past, they typically haven’t taken new grads for ED positions, but there is a possibility that they will for this upcoming cohort

Hmmmm, interesting.... okay, thank you! Did they mention where students who precepted in the ED often end up if chosen for the UCD new grad program?

I believe if not ED, it may be routed to general med-surg, but not 100% sure.

The UCD website posted a separate job posting for the operating room residency that goes alongside the new graduate residency program. For those who are interested, like I am, should apply to that one as well. Not sure if other specialties will have their own application as well.

My guess is anytime after your application status has changed to “routed”. Has anyone had their status changed?

No change in status here. It appears the job page is going through maintenance, so I can't check my status. I'm really hoping to hear something soon but feel we may begin to hear something after the holidays.
