Hey guys! I just wanted to start this post for anyone applying for the 2022 cycle for UBC nursing. Just wondering where everyone is coming from and their experiences.

As far as I'm concerned your unofficial transcript should more or less be identical to your official transcript (with the exception of the stamp and such). So as long as your unofficial transcript has all the information needed (like registered courses and prereqs), it should be okay to send your official transcript prior the deadline. Don't quote me on this though, should contact admissions!
Thanks for your advice! That's correct - my unofficial and official transcript are basically identical.
One of the things that confused me, is that the deadline for official transcripts is clearly January 31. But the message in my account in the "Document Upload" section says: "Any documents you upload are considered unofficial. If admitted based on the uploaded [unofficial] transcripts, an official transcript must be received in order to confirm your offer of admission."
That's why I thought I have to wait before submitting official transcripts...anyways, I'll contact admissions for clarification.
Cheers!

Thanks for letting me know :). Also, what does AL mean?

I understand the confusion, on the UBC nursing website it also says
"a transcript is considered official if sent directly from one institution to UBC, and the document has all the official information (school name, logo, address, etc); this document can be sent electronically or by mail"
https://nursing.ubc.ca/undergraduate-learning/admissions/ready-apply
So if any documents you upload will be considered unofficial, and they only want official documents for your application to be considered complete.

I just completed it. It's very short. Just gotta answer some questions and provide the following information about your prerequisite courses: Institution, Course Name, Course Number, Term/Semester & Year.

If my HAP has been taken recently as in it would be included in the last 30 credits, would it count towards my calculations for GPA?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew when UBC would send offers out.
