Hey y'all, congrats to everyone who's gotten in! Just as a note for those of you who haven't received anything yet, be sure to check your spam boxes- I think a couple of us got theirs sent to their junk last year

Thanks! It went to my personal email (linked to SSC) while my allnurses was linked to my UBC email so I got mixed up. Best of luck to you ?

has anyone gotten rejection email yet? :3

Hey! I just got in as well. Did you apply to any Ontario schools? I have an offer to McMaster in Ontario as well. I love the program and clinical structure that UBC has but being closer to home would also be really nice. Any insight would be really nice.

I also have an offer to UofT so I'll be deciding between the two. I totally understand feeling conflicted about moving away as I'm in the same boat. I'll have to do a bit more research to decide but I'm leaning towards UBC as that was my first choice when I was applying. I went to McMaster for my undergrad and loved it so if you have any questions feel free to reach out! Overall though you honestly can't go wrong either way! I think they are all great schools:) Congrats on your acceptance!

I made the waitlist AL-18....does anyone know how many people on the waitlist got in last year?

Hi everyone, just got an email I got waitlisted I’m number 30 so doubtful I’ll get accepted hahaha but congrats to everyone!
34 got accepted last year

I got in ?

congrats to everyone who got an offer! For anyone who gets a rejection letter , I just want to send all my love. I got rejected by many nursing schools in the previous years (including UBC), so I really know how it feels. Just think of today as day one of the next application cycle. You now have an advantage of being more familiar with the process. Good luck and keep working hard! ?  For anyone who wants to know any application tips or have any doubts about the process, don't be shy to message. All the best to everyone! Can't wait to meet you all in September!

Thank you and same to you! I applied to UofT as well. I don't have an offer there yet but I'm not expecting one because they don't usually admit people without a full undergrad (less than 1% of all their admissions ever have been 3rd years like me). Either way I wanted mac more so I'm super happy. Total clinical hours is approx the same (mac does more hours during consolidation than ubc) but I love that UBC starts placements earlier (week 3/4 as opposed to 2nd semester) but moving far away definitely comes with challenges. I also love the child and childbearing courses and placements UBC offers that you can still get...but without guarantee, at mac. What made UBC your first choice (I know you didn't apply to mac but I'm still curious about when compared to uoft for example).

One random side point: does anyone know why UBC is the only school...basically in the country that I've seen so far, that doesn't make you take pathophysiology?
