UBC 2022 Nursing

Published

Hey guys! I just wanted to start this post for anyone applying for the 2022 cycle for UBC nursing.  Just wondering where everyone is coming from and their experiences.

Mine is CSP-10202-224 as well. I think it just indicates a different test (yesterdays).

I don't think it's anything to worry about. I rescheduled my initial test. The code for that one was CSP-10202-223.

thanks for clarifying Joolea! Had a mini heart attack for a moment LOL

That makes sense because I took my casper in December and already received my mark for it!

No prob! I get it. I feel a little panicky as well so close to doomsday ?

And I still have to upload everything and revamp my personal statement ? Hope I won't run into technical issues when 400 other people also try to upload their stuff last minute and the server crashes ?

Good luck with your application!?

Will do! But just in case...the deadline is tomorrow midnight, right? ?

Good luck to you as well! Can't wait for the sweet feeling of freedom once I hit submit!

Hi, is everyone sticking with the character counts indicated in the application (including spaces)? 250 feels very restrictive and I don't like how the SSC allows for more or doesn't match up on most of the sections ?

I think the hard restriction is the amount of words, rather than the number of characters. When I submitted my application, they accepted the answer if it was over the max characters but met the max words allowed.

Does anyone know how people they accept?

From the previous years treads look like 125 plus 34 to 35 off the waitlist!

Hey guys, just to clarify, if we have UBC Nursing on our distribution list and have done Casper already we don’t need to do anything else right? I completed mine on February 1st and ssc still says it’s required

It takes around 2 weeks for UBC to receive it

Hey guys I am currently submitting my app but it says the word count needs to be 50 words on the additional learning section and 30 words for the volunteer section. But this was different in the instructions (stated 60 words; and 50 words) and what was on Canvas, do we just ignore this?

Hey! I’m starting to get nervous and thinking I didn’t do something. To confirm we had to do the supplemental application, Casper and send transcripts? And also the survey
