Hey!
Just wanted to start this for anyone looking to apply to the 2020 cycle for UBC accelerated nursing. Let's share what we'll be applying with and any other info :).

I have that in mind too. UBC has put me in an indecisive state? I got in to Uni of montreal for Public health only to find out that the mode of instruction is french and study materials are mostly in english. I thought it was listed under english-taught programs

I applied to the UBC MOT program as backup, realized I didn't want to do it, and here we are. I also started a master's program in a research field, hated it, and came back to nursing yet again! If you really want to do nursing, it might not be worth it to do another 2-3 year program ?
That said, Public Health and Business are such good programs, could be a great option if you're rethinking nursing!
Hahaha. My thought too! Will apply to Uvic for January intake because the deadline for fall Intake is April 30.

Lets do it! It’s not easy going through another stressful application process and waiting till eternity for a response. U of C had better not keep me waiting too long when I apply or else....

Hopefully we get into UBC though, and you won't have to!
Yay! I hope so too. Can’t go through the stress of another application. Can’t one just go to a school of choice without stress? It’s my money uno?
1 minute ago, kkay96 said:Yes! I'll hit you up when my UBC rejection comes out ?
OMG!? You already assumed its gonna be a rejection letter. Don’t give up!
Hey guys!
I'm super stressed too! Hopefully, we all get good news soon. I keep counting down days till April 30!! Do you guys already have degrees? I'm finishing mine this year at UBC if I don't get into nursing, then I plan to apply again. My GPA is 3.4 on my last 30 credits. I don't have much healthcare experience, other than a care home I volunteered at. How about you guys? Casper was sort of hard.
