I'm hoping to apply for UBC nursing 2013, but I am a little worried as I haven't volunteered for 2 years. My question is, if I get back into volunteering this summer will my chances of being accepted be higher?

Hello all! Can anyone confirm that UBC started to send out invitations last week?

I really don't think they did. I mean we could call but no one has heard anything. Are you an international student?

I am not. I am surprised that if they did send out invitations last week that no one has posted about it.

Nope I haven't heard anything from anyone yet either. I don't think they started sending out invitations yet.... the wait goes on....

Hi everyone,

I thought I would just let you know that when I tried to e-mail ** to find out when/if they have already started handing out the invitations to the interviews, I received an automated reply saying that she is out of the office today and tomorrow during the afternoon. I am unsure who the invites come from, but if it is indeed C* that sends them, we may not hear anything until wednesday at the earliest. When i hear back from someone I'll make sure to let you know!

Ok, so I got a reply...it didn't really clear anything up for me though

We are in the process of sending out the interview invitations and plan to inform applicants of admission decision by early next week.

So either they have indeed started sending them out and no one on here has gotten one (which seems unlikely), or they are currently preparing them and will be sending them this week. I hope its the latter, and that they are waiting for **** to be back in the office. The suspense is terrible!
