UBC nursing application 2011

I'm new to the site and I saw the thread for last years appilcants to UBC nursing so I thought I would start one for this year.

How is the application going for everyone, any tips from 2010 intake?

Hart16, me too. Have you addressed yours to school of nursing, undergrad admission, east mall...?

Just booked my CPR through the red cross website. It is so good to be able to plan and prepare rather than just wait!

Applcation,

I addressed mine to the School of Nursing. Anybody in the department will know what it is as soon as they open it. Still no updates on my CWL site yet. I'm also looking into obtaining my immunization records. I think Fraser Health should have records (for those who grew up around here) and from when my sister went into her Dental program, I remember it taking a while to get!

Yeah, me too. I feel like i'm the ONLY person in the history of this forum who hasn't heard back yet.... And I have a feeling that the longer it takes for me to hear back from them, the less likely I'll get accepted

Wow I wish I found this forum earlier you all seem so supportive! Hugbug, I am also waiting for a response so I feel your pain. It really is dreadful getting this far and seeing others get accepted. I am trying to stay positive but it's hard. I really hope to hear something tomorrow. If not an offer, at least the waitlist. Fingers crossed!

People! Do not panic! In fact, many did not hear anything yet. Unfortunately, it is normal and expected that they send offers over some period of time. Who knows what this depends on, but I guess it doesn't really matter.

Lets wait! There are plenty of offers to be made yet, and being worried is not very constructive. I'm hopping to see many (better all) allnurses posters in August!!!!!!!!
