I'm new to the site and I saw the thread for last years appilcants to UBC nursing so I thought I would start one for this year.

How is the application going for everyone, any tips from 2010 intake?

I just got mine too!!!

I interviewed april 13th, afternoon session and just received my email acceptance now. For those of you still waiting, I'm wishing you the best of luck!! Fingers and toes crossed that you all receive good news!!!

To people still waiting (well one person in particular). Don't panic. They are obviously sending the letters out slowly.

aaaahhh!! I just got my offer as well after staring at my phone for the last 2 hours!!!! yay!

Congrats to all so far and i'm positive they are still sending out offers. It will probably go down like it did for the interviews, spread out over a few days. fingers crossed for you all!!!

1of3, I responded to the email with a big 'thank you' and let them know I accepted. I noticed that the response to the offer agreement requires a signature. I am assuming thins will have to be returned to the school. I just contacted the program assistant and asked what we should do. I will let you know what I learn.

Yeah! I got the acceptance email! I had my interview on the 13th!

I've just printed off my complete e-mail and signed it. I'm going to drop it in the mail tonight (eager, much?). I've checked on the CWL site and the offers (or mine, at least) have not been opened up on that site yet. I got the understanding that they require both a signed hardcopy, in addition to accepting the offer on the CWL site.

I'd really like to start getting things ready (like CPR Certification, Immunization record, etc.). Hope to get that info soon!
