UBC nursing application 2011

Hello,

I'm new to the site and I saw the thread for last years appilcants to UBC nursing so I thought I would start one for this year.

How is the application going for everyone, any tips from 2010 intake?

I wish us lots of luck, because I do thinks it has to do with luck somewhat :-)

Being able to predict how we did on the interview would be nice of course. Unfortunately it is not that simple

Hmmm...lots of talk of envelopes... I wonder if we will be hearing by email or snail mail?

During the friday AM interview debriefing, we were informed both e-mail and mail would be utilized. =)

I am!! Haha the first thing I did this morning was to check my email because I had a feeling that it was going to be sent out either today or tomorrow since Friday is a holiday. They did say that it could likely be the week after so I should be more patient....:p

Haha me too!! Except I'm checking both my ssc and my email! I am trying SOOOOO hard not to think about it, because at this point we have no control over the situation whatsoever... But it's WAY easier said than done

Has anyone heard?? I don't have access to my email while I am at work which is killing me :)

I haven't heard... Pretty sure you're not missing anything...yet. I have heard of different professions that have only one of the two holidays (Friday & Monday) off, so I find it a little more reasonable to think we might hear tomorrow!

I checked the UBC calender and UBC is closed Good Friday and Easter Monday, so we'll probably hear next week some time.

I feel like a kid waiting for Santa Claus; I hope we get a reply sooner than later this week.

From the responses to last year's intake, it appears that it took 2 weeks for replies to be sent by email from the date of the last interview group. That means 4/29 is the likely date for the emails this year.

I hope UBC lets us know soon; between the Canucks and this program I am tense :bugeyes:
