UBC BSN September 2017

Hi Everyone!

I've been searching for a thread for applicants to UBC's BScN program for September 2017, but I haven't found one. Please feel free to point me in the direction of an existing thread, or add to this one! I'm applying to UBC, U of T, and UWO for September, but UBC is definitely my first choice. Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

Hey everyone, I haven't been receiving notifications so I thought this group was dead! Glad to see more people joining in the conversation. Thanks to everyone who shared their input into the bsn program and clinicals. I'm still undecided as to whether it'll be BCIT or UBC but I'm leaning towards BCIT so we'll see! Hopefully we all hear back soon!

@mdana93 I have that problem a lot with this thread. For some reason it seems to be for me if I get the email on my phone and then go to thread from that email it auto unsubscribes me. I have been just checking the thread periodically to see if I have missed things.

As far as I know, no one here has called them. But yes, we'll find out soon! One week to go, everyone! (And that's worst case scenario :up:)

Haha I actually called few times. The first time I called was last week or the week before, asking when (exact date) they will start to send the letters. She said they don't have the set date. I called again yesterday but it went straight to voicemail. So maybe other people also called and made it auto-voicemail. Regardless, we will find out either today or the next week for sure.

IF I were admissions... I'd send first round offers out today so people have a chance to reply by monday and send second rounds out then... but that's me making scenarios in my head :whistling:

I was thinking the same thing. It would give them more room for first and second offers. fingers crossed! (trying to not get my hopes up still... as I honestly have no idea how UBC admissions really works lol)

make sure to post here the second anyone hears anything! :) :) :)

Last year, they gave successful applicants until June 15th to accept their offer.
