LaShayJ you scored good, If only I can get past that but we will see how it goes on Thursday morning, and I think they only go by your prerequisites they require for the program but some of your other classes could count as electives though. LivinLovinWoman I hope they do consider the GPA more. I have a 3.46, But I think you two ladies are doing great.

Something personal came up & I scheduled for today, then with all the Ice & everything . I see classes are cancelled today again & when I was reading their inclement weather policy, it stated the library would be closed as well. The number I called yesterday to find out was listed under their library page. Do you think they will still have it today due to the road conditions or reschedule?

I did get an email this morning though apologizing for the inconvenience & that they would talk to the CON about accommodating more times to reschedule due to the weather & that she would keep updated. Praise The Lord. I was stressed even more.

Oh good! I was worried about that cause I have a friend scheduled to take it today too. They should definitely schedule more dates. The weather was out of everyones control.

Yes it definitely was & they're saying maybe a little more tomorrow! Hope not! I wanna say a few years ago when they had their deadline was Feb. 1, and we had inclement weather they extended the deadline I think by at least the week. When I say I was freaking out, I was. Glad I got that email so I'm assuming it maybe sometime in the beginning of March hopefully for reschedule.

Well ladies I scored 1 point away & upset, like crying UAMS was my first choice but looks like it will be LPN to RN at UALR .Then hopefully my RN-BSN online from UAMS. But I know you ladies will rock out & have your acceptance letters coming to you soon! Congratulations in advance!

Just took the test again exact same score 64.7 I studied all of the things I missed last time and I did good on all of those things then missed all the stuff I got last time. I'm pretty bummed just because someone said they are not looking at anything under 65. My gpa is just not competitive enough. On the website it said all you need was a 60 score and 2.5gpa but looking at the post that's really not true. Looks like I will set my sights on UALR.

They told me the thing about the 65 in the interview, but I'm not sure how true it is. The two ladies I interviewed with told me they don't make any admittance decisions. I'd think if on the website it says 60, then that's what they'll go by. Hopefully you both hear from them soon anyway! I guarantee they lower their standards this year anyway with everyone applying to UALR since they did away with their entrance exam.

I applied for this summer as well and have my interview next week (took the TEAS late). Anyone know the likely hood of receiving an interview/it going well and actually being accepted? or does everyone receive an interview? SO NERVOUS!!!

I had my interview the 13th of February but still haven't heard anything else. I did receive financial aid paperwork but it says it doesn't guarantee admission. Ugh the waiting is horrible! Good luck in your interview! What is your gpa and teas score?

Also I was told everyone who scores a 60 or higher gets an interview this year, but in my interview they told me 65 or higher.

Great....I made 70 on TEAS and have a 3.3 in the 58 required classes. I don't know what to expect from them. I called and they basically said the interview makes it or breaks it now but who knows...
