Anybody else applying or have already applied for the BSN program at UAMS this upcoming summer? Thought I'd start a thread for us to wait it out together and pass on any info!

Update: I received an email today to schedule my interview! Finally things are moving along! How about you? Have you retaken your test yet, or still studying?

Congratulations girl!!!! :) I know you got it & I'm still studying! I'm thinking about taking it again on the 16th. I don't want to cut it too close. Just praying everything works out!

Hi ladies, I am also applying to UAMS and I'm applying to UALR I have been on the fence where to go. I hear both are good school so when I get accepted I guess I will need to pick. I applied to UAMS today and I am taking the TEAS test on Feb.15. Good luck!!

I had my interview yesterday and I feel it went well! I interviewed with 2 ladies. They did a great job making me feel comfortable. It was actually a casual atmosphere, although still a professional interview. Be prepared for them to ask questions about who you are. 5 year goal, why you chose nursing and uams etc.

Happy for you Hun & that's good that it's a relaxed environment, well helpful to not feel nervous. Did they mention anything about when they would start sending letters or how many applicants? I got a good feeling your acceptance letter will be coming soon! I decided to change my test day to the 19th because of this possible weather they're talking about. I'll be updating in the next few days with good news! I'm claiming it!

They said late March early April is when letters go out, but looking on here at previous years they do rounds in late February and late March. I asked how many applicants but they couldn't tell me. They did say last year there were 300 something for 120 spots. You will do great on the teas! You've given yourself plenty of time to study. Oh they did say they won't even look at applications if you don't make at least a 65 on it this year.
