I plan on applying for the ADN progam at UALR soon. I am a nervous reck. I know there are more people applying than spots available. I have about 96 quality points. I made an 84 on my evolve exam. I have a 3.5 gpa. I have taken most of my Support Courses except Chemistry and Microbiology. I am taking Micro in the spring and have to repeat chemistry b/c I made a D in it about 10 years ago. I'm scared that chemistry will ruin my chances. I have a prior bachelors degree. I was just wondering what shot do I have of getting in the program.
@RNtobe33 I hope you get your letter soon. But if you end up going to Baptist I think it is a good school. I have a friend that is going to Baptist and will graduate this summer. Baptist hospital already offered her an RN job and she has an interview next week for the state hospital. She hasn't even graduated yet.
I did apply to Baptist today. I have sent my official transcripts and need to figure out how to get my high school transcripts lol...that was like a million years ago (not really;) I have a friend graduating from Baptist this summer too. She loved it and has already accepted a job at Baptist. I will be excited with either program. (Still hoping for an acceptance letter from UALR though)
Thanks guys! I have never had so much relief and stress happen at the same time, lol. RNtobe33, I hope you hear something soon, but the Baptist program is also a good option. That is what I was going to do if I did not hear anything from UALR; and not because I think one program is better than the other, just that I love UALR.
