I spoke to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) yesterday, and she stated that our determination letters will get mailed out by the end of this week. I'm dying to know if I got in or not, and I'm sure the rest of you are too. I'd be really curious to hear from anybody that received an early letter already!
I'm hoping to get a letter because this semester has sucked for me. I feel like my gpa will actually go down and so it's kinda a now or never feeling.
jls0052 I hope it means something too! But then again it could just be because they changed things up.
I'd love for all of us to get accepted. When I first started looking into nursing school, I didn't get why they didn't just accept everyone, but the whole gpa thing makes sense.
Have any of you guys applied (or gotten into) the honors college?
I'm pretty sure your gpa mattered when you applied to the nursing program... I'm also a transfer student. They look at your overall gpa and your science gpa. At least according to the website.
"Aminimum grade of C†in all prerequisite courses and a minimum cumulative calculated GPAof 3.0 on all prerequisite courses. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 in all science courses."
I got that straight for the application.

That's an awesome score! I made a 72 in A&P and chemistry. My overall science was an 86 because I made an 88 in biology. I made a 90 in math and I'm more of a math-y person anyways. haha
