UAH fall 2015 admission hang-out thread

I spoke to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) yesterday, and she stated that our determination letters will get mailed out by the end of this week. I'm dying to know if I got in or not, and I'm sure the rest of you are too. I'd be really curious to hear from anybody that received an early letter already!

I SO wish I was at home right now. I was out accepting a summer job offer, and the whole time I was like "today will be the best day ever. I know letters will go out today." Now I cannot wait to get home! Congratulations!

Definitely! If I get in.... My experience doesn't trump bad grades from 2005 when I had a different major :( But I'm trying to stay positive. One of my friends is going to be in the program, she an LPN too!

Oh, I think I have you beat on that front.

I flunked out of college in 2006 with completely embarrassing 1.8 GPA. I was so stupid to pull the stunts I did, and I've been paying the piper for it ever since. I've held a 4.0 for the past two years, and my cumulative GPA will finally be back up to a respectable 3.0 after this semester.

If I can get in, I'm sure you can too. It's allllllllll about your prerequisite grades! People change, and we're not the same terrible students we once were.

I agree and I kinda put that into my paper we had to write to an extent. I'm just praying hard!
