UAB MSN Summer 2020

Published

Hello!

I wanted to start a page for anyone hoping to get accepted into the UAB MSN Summer 2020 program. What specialties are you applying to in the MSN program? What's your clinical background?

Specializes in Peds and Postpartum.

I logged in to blazernet and was able to get in (prior to today it just said you are not an authorized user) and was able to click on blazernet home. It says program “MSN Nursing” and concentration “FNP”

Holding my breath until I see it on paper ?

Specializes in MICU.

I was able to log into blazernet too and it says MSN with FNP concentration but no holds. Anyone else have this?

Congratulations! You can believe it, it was on the internet so of course it’s true!

congrats! PediRN1995! you are definitely in! For what Ive read in past threads thats how you know your in . What link are you using?

theres this one

https://ssb.it.uab.edu/pls/sctprod/twbkwbis.P_ValLogin

when i try to log in it says, not an authorized user...

My application dashboard still says "Congratulations! Your application is under review", maybe they are all updating now?

Same here. No holds. Not able to make the blazer ID yet. Concentration says my first choice PMHNP. Thanks for posting. I was wonder if this was the case for anyone else.

Specializes in PCU, ONS, CM.

I was able sign in and I have holds, but not able to get a blazer ID. I applied for nurse health system administration.

Specializes in ER-Trauma, Surgery-Trauma.

for those who can sign in Blazernet, How much time did it take from the time where your dashboard said "decision has been made" until you were able to sign into blazernet? mine still says "under review" but it seems my stuff has updated after everyones here

My dashboard changed to “decision made” this morning and I was able to log into blazernet around noon.

Can anyone clarify the difference between a banner ID, being able to log into blazernet, and a BlazerID?

Which one is the one you get only if you’ve been accepted?

Ive never attended UAB so I don't really know what all those entail, lol

but i know that Banner ID is the (Student ID) which is the number that starts with a B followed by 8 digits.. Blazer net is the login that you sign in with just using your Banner ID... Whats in there? I have no idea

then theres BlazerID is another login, in which you activate using your BannerID..Whats in there have no idea... but Ive read in past postings that u only get a BlazerID, if your admitted into a program

however I've read from past threads that people were getting their acceptance letters and were still unable to get a BlazerID

I was just able to create a BlazerID!

When I logged in it's a different page that says:

"You have reached the new BlazerNET, the online academic resource for students, faculty, and some staff.

Our records indicate that you do not have access to academic information. Please follow the below links to find resources you previously accessed through BlazerNET:

Employee Tab resources may now be accessed through uab.edu/employees

Research Tab resources may now be accessed through uab.edu/research411"

So not sure if that's a bummer or not. All I want to see is an official statement! I'm leaving for a week tomorrow and can't stand the thought of having the decision letter sitting in my mailbox taunting me haha.

So my application said A decision has been made. I went and I was able to login and create an account with the "B". It shows I have holds and it shows that I am there for Masters of Nursing but it does not show my concentration...? where do yall see concentration?
