UAB MSN Summer 2020

Hello!

I wanted to start a page for anyone hoping to get accepted into the UAB MSN Summer 2020 program. What specialties are you applying to in the MSN program? What's your clinical background?

I got my BlazerID today and was able to log in. It stated a concentration of PMHNP and I have 4 holds. Hopefully thats a good sign! I applied in early September. Keeping fingers crossed!

I was able to create BlazerNET/blazerID. It shows my concentration and says i have four holds on my account (Drug screening, OSHA, HIPAA, and updated pos) not sure what updated POS means- but I'm assuming I would not be able to create an account and they would not be asking for the above if i was not accepted.... I guess I could be wrong so fingers crossed for that letter!

I have 4 holds placed on my account (drug screen, HIPPA, OSHA, etc) but my concentration has not changed. I wonder if that means I’m out? Anyone heard of this?

I have not. But having holds is a good sign I was told. What does it say on your concentration?

So, I did undergrad at UAB and it still has BSN on it. I really think it means I didn’t get in if everyone else has MSN.

Has anyone asked exactly what day they are sending out letters? I think in the past one could make a BlazerID a few days before letters came.

Does anyone’s dashboard say something different from “a decision has been made”

Mine says a decision has been made and gives a link to view the decision but it doesn't actually tell me if I'm accepted or not!

I still can’t get a blazer ID but I have a B# and have holds on my account with a concentration showing...anyone else with that issue? Also ANYONE out there going after the health system admin master’s?

That happened to me but I was eventually able to get a blazer ID. I think it’s just takes a hot minute for everything to crossover

when I go to this link https://ssb.it.uab.edu/pls/sctprod/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin?ret_code=w

and try to sign in with my student number it says "you are not an authorized user"...... does this mean I didn't get in??? My application says a decision was made.
