Hello!

I wanted to start a page for anyone hoping to get accepted into the UAB MSN Summer 2020 program. What specialties are you applying to in the MSN program? What's your clinical background?

My dashboard changed from "Your application checklist is complete and your materials have been sent to the department for review." to "Congratulations! Your application is under review."

My application page says your decision is ready but of course it says you have to wait for the letter in the mail. If anyone has anything different, please post it. It let me make a banner ID but I cannot make a Blazer ID. Thanks.

My application changed from “Congratulations! Your application is under review” to “A decision has been made”. I was also able to create a banner ID. This all happened today. Has anyone had this happen and not gotten in? ?Also, I applied for FNP. Anyone from Alabama? What part? It’d be nice to make friends before starting the program if I do actually get in! lol

Hey guys! I applied to the AGACNP first assist option. My application still says "Your application checklist is complete and your materials have been sent to the department for review" and has not changed. Are they sending decisions now? sometime ago I emailed Charlene asking when decisions would be made, she said "early december". I too, was able to make a Blazernet, the number that starts with a Bxxxxxxxx, but haven't been able to make a blazer ID. My experience is in ER and Trauma Surgery. The option of completing the RNFA in tandem has made UAB my first choice. Has anyone here applied to UAB before?

Now I'm crazy worried that I'm not accepted because I tried to make an ID today but it won't let me...I applied for the AGACNP and had my stuff turned in about 6 days before the original deadline. ?

thats where you obtain your Blazernet (student ID number) the one that starts with a Bxxxxxxxx, it seems a lot of people are able to obtain that number but cannot login to the BLazerID.. from what I've read in previous posts is that, is pretty standard, and wether u can or cannot login doesn't mean anything....BTW my application page just changed to "Congratulations! Your application is under review", this just happened 2 minutes ago

My application updated and now says “Congratulations! Your application is under review.” I wouldn’t worry about now being able to make a blazerID until the decision has been made. I would think they would admit all students at the same time when all the decisions are done rather than one at a time.

I was able to log into BlazerNet today using this link: https://ssb.it.uab.edu/pls/sctprod/twbkwbis.P_ValLogin

I feel like it took me a couple of tries and refreshing, as in it only let me log in a few times out of several times.

Shows MS in nursing with FNP concentration but no holds yet.

Don’t know what to think! I feel like it’s too early to know? Anyone else able to do this or know what it’d mean?

Just checked and it said "Decision was made". Was able to make a BlazerID based off of that link that person uploaded earlier! ? Hopefully it means I got in. My friend who is currently a NP student there says that thats how she found out. Good luck everyone!!
