Hi! Yes, my GPA was like a 3.5-3.6 ish. I took some classes at a local community college because I thought I was going a different route in my medical career. I haven’t calculated it lately but my guess would be that numbers above.

Ahhh okay gotcha. Mine was a 3.53 so hopefully I’ll get a reg interview. Thank you!!

Yes! You got this! I’m also CNA certified and I work as a Patient Care Tech at UAB hospital if this helps any as well.

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

We wish you success In your Nursing program!

So sorry! Didn't mean to violate any TOS. Here's a link to the facebook group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/547048616726112?modal=false&should_open_composer=false&hoisted_section_header_type=notifications&show_migration_preparation_dialog=false&show_migration_onboarding_dialog=false

Congrats everyone being accepted! Unfortunately I wasn’t selected for early admissions but a final decision will be made in November.

Hi everyone, I am a student from a past cohort and strongly caution any of you who think of applying to this program. To sum it up in a few words, this program will take you to your limits, cause you constant anxiety, and consume every single moment of your time from January to December. Some directors in leadership care very, very, very little about student success and student mental/emotional well-being. The priority is on NCLEX pass rates. Students are offered little to no help when they fall behind the pack; in fact, they are almost always discouraged from trying to catch back up. Many friends were directly told things by faculty along the lines of "you have no hope."

Myself, I attended class full time (around 15 hours not counting labs), attended clinical 36 hours a week (Summer semester), and studied upwards of 40 hours a week. Overall, it was about 100+ hour time commitment per week. If you have a family, say goodbye to them for a year. If you have a current job, resign. Every single student who tried to work during the program flunked out. Many students' emotional integrity dropped to dismal levels directly due to careless, thoughtless comments directly from faculty and leadership (I.e. students walking out of exams sobbing multiple times). To sum it up, if I could go back through the application process, I would have chosen a longer but lower stress program that actually let me breathe and encourage me to succeed.

This is not a negative review of the program. Rather, it is a simple concise review of my experience of it; interpret the objective information for your self.

Also, I am told by the current cohort you all might be forced to wear uniforms. Have fun with that.

I just submitted my application for the September 6th deadline! does anyone know the time frame of hearing back about an interview?
