UA MEPN 2020

U.S.A. Arizona

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone,

I'm considering MEPN application to the UofA next year. I've been in touch with the advisor, Chris Sogge, for the past 3 years. I have a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.Sc. in Biology from Canada . Chris said that I need a pre-req GPA of 3.7 at least to get into the program; mine is 3.3. Do I stand any chances? Did anyone get in with lower pre-req grades? I'm trying to juggle pre-req taking with a toddler. Thanks so much for your advice!

Marina.

@michelleMEPN2020 just wondering did they mail you a card back? I submitted mine and they've received it and everything. I just wasn't sure if I'll get a physical card or not.

I got a card in the mail about a week after I applied (I’m also in state). But, they give you an application number when you originally order it, and you can use that number to check the status of it.

Okay great thanks! I have my application number and everything I just wasn't sure if it was a physical card or just something virtual that was on file.

So am I currently enrolled in some classes at Pima and just got offered MEPN Phoenix 2020. I would like to finish out the classes but feel I should just withdraw with a "W" so I can prepare. Does anyone know if having recent "W's" on your record affect your ability to get Financial Aid for MEPN? Thanks

Hey guys! How long did it take for the Graduate College to admit you from the time you submitted your GradApp??

I barely submitted my GradApp two days ago and can't help feeling behind because I can't start the CastleBranch requirements without my official UA email.

Hi everyone! I accepted my offer of admission to the Tuscon branch but then I just found out this week that I got into my #1 choice ? I just declined my offer on the grad portal and emailed the nursing school, so hopefully this helps one of you guys wanting a Tuscon spot! Best of luck!!

I am not sure as I submitted mine on Monday. So do not feel behind. I did not want to pay the $85 and not get accepted, so I waited it out.

I did receive an email yesterday saying the college of nursing had submitted me for acceptance into the graduate college (so that was the first step).

The email I recieved said up to 3 weeks for the graduate college but I am guessing they may get us through faster or they would not have given us the deadline of the 25th

So, I submitted my application at the same time of my NursingCAS one. But, I know they didn't start reviewing the applications until we all received our acceptances to the program. It was probably about 8-10 days after when I learned of my Graduate College admissions. I think you should probably hear sooner since a majority of people submitted their graduate college app early.

@MamaJess20 @cse Thanks! I appreciate the quick response.

USD! I live in San Diego so happy to stay put ?

Hello everyone,

I have recently set up my castlebranch account and uploaded most of my documents. On the OSHA and HIPAA requirement however, it has us log in to UAccess under learning. When I do this I get an error message. I contacted the help chat and they told me that my account was on Admit and when I am changed to student that this should allow me access. Has anyone else tried to access UAccess- learning? Was anyone successful?
