I have my first Type II Diabetic at my middle school as of this morning. We have plenty of Type I's (6 of them) but I haven't had any experience with the Type II in the school setting. So I have a silly question- do Type II Diabetics still need glucagon? It is on the order set from the MD for severe hypoglycemia, but I wasn't aware that Type II's have problems with dropping their BG so much. Thanks!
