TWU Spring 2018

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

Because I have zero chill when it comes to this whole process, I looked at how the final days were handled for Fall 17 and Spring 17, and it looks like we will get a message from TWU on allnurses right before they go out. In Fall, they said it would be just a few more days. For Spring, it was about 10 more days after the applications were done being processed. You can find these responses for yourself on Fall 2017 page 15 and Spring 2017 page 19.

Same here! I went through all of the old pages trying to find the date we'll get acceptance letters lol. They've all been sent on Fridays so I assumed this year might be Sept 29 or Oct 6. Anyone else notice how this forum has more comments and views than the Fall 17 & Spring 17 had around the time they were waiting for acceptances? I really hope this semester isn't crazy or had a huge amount of people apply compared to the others. :(

Since I applied to 9 different programs for Spring 2018 I made a spreadsheet that included checklists for applications, test scores, etc... otherwise I couldn't keep up with all the different requirements. One of the boxes I included on my spreadsheet is the date when the Spring 2017 cohorts were notified. I'm not sure if having the date helps ease my mind and relax until they get closer, or it stresses me out even more with anticipation. I'm thinking the latter.

Oh Brandon man. Will somebody just *******' accept you for crying out loud? I feel for you bud; for us both, but I know youve been at it longer than I have. I have a master spreadsheet as well. And some of the data mining ive done is downright embarrassing. I've mostly stayed off the boards this semester. It ran me ragged last semester. Good luck man. You are an AllNurses icon of perseverance.

P.S. I gotta say though after attending the latest TWU Open House.... they look bad-orifice! :)

I think I heard somewhere 600-800 at the open house? I can't remember exactly
