TWU Spring 2018

Published

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

How about y'all?

My last name starts with S and I haven't heard anything! Do you mind me asking what comes after S in your last name?

E. I wouldn't worry until tomorrow. Some people work 8-4 so they may be wrapping up processing for the day soon?

Oh thank goodness! I'm after that. It's just all so nerve-racking you know! Thank you so much!

I'm in the exact same boat. I applied to both TWU (my first choice school) and Collin since I took all my prereqs there. How did you do on the TEAS?

Decent, but not great. I think my composite was 85%. Good luck and here's to being classmates somewhere!

For those of you taking the online pathophysiology course, what was the format for the test quiz like? I missed it and I'm hoping to get some information on what kind of questions there are going to be on the exam.

It wasn't bad at all! Fairly general knowledge - nothing was too crazy specific. Just know the basics of everything and be able to think of the issues in the sense of "patient presents with these symptoms, what could it be?". I studied like crazy and was panicking before the test and ended up with a 108%! You got this! (Oh and there are bonus questions - hence the 108). Good luck!!

Did anyone receive a "spring schedule advising" email from TWU?

I did

Ok, good! I was nervous that I got put on a wrong mailing list or something.

They must have sent them out to help free up advising staff, I'm guessing?

Hello everyone! I applied to the Houston campus for spring'18.

My stats :

Nursing core GPA: 4.0

TEAS score: 84

Points: 55.93

Previous bachelor's degree

I'm not sure if my score is good enough to get accepted into this course. I'm nervous. Good luck to you all!

I have very similar stats! I'm hoping to get into Dallas campus. Sure wish the next two weeks would hurry up and be over already! Good luck!

I'm a "S" last name, and my application was processed this morning :)

Keep hanging in there T U V W X Y Z
