TWU Spring 2018

Published

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

How about y'all?

My last name begins with Ob.. I haven't received an email yet. Are you able to login to nursingcas? I can login but its sending me to the copy previous application page

Can anyone see there application on nursingcas. I know before we could but rn I check mine and I don't see it. Sadly i haven't received an email :( and my last name starts with an M. So I'm kinda bum but hoping for the best

@Ducky and @MrKarm did you check your spam folder? after the deadline we are not able to see the application anymore. are you checking the email you used for the application? and what location did you apply for?

How do you calculate your points

Sorry about that Mrkarm :( I'm emailing the advisor, I hope I'm not overreacting but I have to know they at least have my application.

Yes ViviAkuc44, I checked the email I used on the application, checked spam, and the nursingcas notification. Sadly nothing

Thanks for answering my question :)

Also I applied to the Dallas campus.

@Ducky.espinoza ok i know if theY have questions about your application they should be contacting you. you had all the required documents submitted right? ALSO! did you apply for the schools general admission thats the first step! You have to gain admission to TWU before getting admitted to the nursing program. also call just incase

If you don't mind me asking, what stats did you apply with the first time around?

I applied last semester with 29 points (75 on Teas) mainly due to not having enough time to retake it before the deadline. I had just finished a full semester of classes so it was pretty insane and I ran out of time. I knew my chances were pretty low, but still had hope. I received the rejection letter 3/22/17 (Wednesday) @ 4:01 pm. This time around I was able to score higher with an 85 on my Teas and applied with 39.17 points for the Houston location. I hope to god this is the semester for me. My best friend just graduated from TWU this pass May and she has been pushing/helping me along the way. She did tell me that from what she heard from fellow classmates Spring semester was easier to get in.
