Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.
Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?
I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.
If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?
Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!
Did anyone confirm that they will send both acceptance AND rejection letters? Or are we just supposed to assume we didn't get in if we don't get a letter by the 5th or so? I am surprised they didn't send out rejections to the weekend people, so I am wondering if they will do the same with us.
i think i heard somewhere if people aren't accepted to the weekend program they are considered for the regular program so they just wouldn't get a letter until the other regular applicants. i would also assume they will send rejection letters, there's no way they can't and it would just cause more problems for them with everyone calling trying to figure out if they were accepted and where their letter was
no I didn't confirm; I will call tomorrow and ask that. I think TWU should have atleast sent a letter out to those who didn't get accepted to the weekend program saying that they didn't get accepted, but they are being considered for the regular. That would have been the classy thing to do.
Hello all,
I have been reading some of the posts on the website and finally joined today. Has anyone out there received their packet yet for the Spring 2010 Weekend Program on the Dallas Campus of TWU? I would love to hear from someone who has been in the program. I teach full time and am nervous about getting to Dallas after school gets out on Fridays.
hi, i've been stalking the threads for quite a while now. the stress of waiting has gotten to me and i need to express my anticipation to people who are going through the same thing (my boyfriend and friends don't understand how stressful and competitive the admissions process is). can't they please tell us asap??? ack! i'm so nervous. i can't put my life on hold any longer. i'm ready to get in, kick butt, graduate and work! ...then undergo an even more intense program for crna.
my head is going to explode
