Hello everyone just wanted to see if there were anymore hopeful spring 2009 applicants out there. I submitted my application already and just sitting back waiting till Nov when acceptance/rejection letters are sent out. I know they said for us to check out emails everyday in October. If anyone has been through the application process before please share your experience. Good luck to everyone :wink2:

I do not want to see you give up either!
I am turning in for the night and I pray that tomorrow will bring better news for us all.
Till we return to do this all over tomorrow; good night and remember to
say your prayers and please be thankful for all your blessings whether they come in our time or not because the greatest of all God loves you and he knows the best plan for each of us!:nuke:
Thank you so much!! Hopefully we can be students together one of these days:rolleyes:
I did some calculations, and if I retake 2 or 3 classes I can greatly increase my GPA. I can't do anything in time for the fall deadline, and I don't want to spread this out forever....this is frustrating. If I can't get in, I am going to talk to an advisor at TWU. They will be able to tell me what I need to do. I am tired of stressing out about this. I probably have a better chance at getting into UT.
Oh thank you!! I am interested in many nursing programs, but I definitely want a bachelor degree. I already have 2 Associate degrees, and I'm ready to get out of community college.
I have to keep a positive attitude no matter what happens. At least there are other people who are dealing with the same issues, so I'm glad I'm not alone in this. They probably had around 600 applicants this semester, and only 90 (or maybe 100) will be accepted. The odds are not in my favor. They said one year they had 1800 applicants, and they only took 60 or something. The competitive admission process is verging on ridiculous. I am looking forward to becoming a nurse, but getting through this is very difficult for me financially and emotionally.
Hey everyone now that I have gotten some sleep and really thought thing through I feel a lot better. First off I wanna say congrats to everyone who got accepted. TWU just doesn't take anyone and I know each and every one of you deserved it. With that said I guess me being put on the wait lost isn't that bad. I'm happy know I was good enough to get into TWU just wasn't enough slots to take everyone. I know I'm very lucky. They could have easily gave me a rejection letter. If I don't get a spot this semester its not over for me. With my A I will be replacing I know I have a good chance of getting accpeted into fast track or the fall. Thanks for all the encouraging words and I won't give up my quest to become a nurse
Good morning my nursing friends to be:
Today is another day for all of us and time for a plan to come together.
One thing I do want to stress if you can take Patho. prior to being accepted into the nursing program please do so. It will take a huge load off of you during your first semester especially since you have to deal with Pharm. as well.
Patho. is not hard, but information can be very overwhelming. So those of you that are waiting include Patho. into your equation of completion prior to.
Well, yes I will await the mailman again today. I have to go to work so I will be checking in periodically to say hello.
Any new word please let me know. Yes, I said a special prayer for us all and this to will come to pass.
Good morning Princess WannaBe
You sound so much better today, my friend! When I said my prayers last night I said God please give Princess WannaBe the peace she needs to get a good night sleep and realize everything is in your hands and you only want the best for us.
I did want to ask did you choose Dallas as your first choice?
