Starting this for anyone thinking about applying to Texas Women's University's Nursing program for Spring 2019. Even though it seems like a long time from now it's never too early to start preparing to apply:happy:
Is anyone else prepping for the TEAS or has already taken it?
You have until September 1st to send in all transcripts
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the September 1st deadline for sending in official transcripts is only if you took courses this summer so this extension grace period is only for updated official transcripts? Otherwise the August 15th deadline is solid?
Definitely not complaining, just frustrated because I didn't keep checking the application after I spoke with the advisor in april because she was so positive and helpful and had thoroughly explained everything to me. My issue was that after I figured out I did something wrong and I was trying to remedy the problem, it was difficult for me to figure out what to do based on the responses I was getting. The instructions that I was emailed said that it would state that I have to send everything into nursingCAS and told me to ignore that information.
"TWU College of Nursing does not require that you list all courses in which you ever enrolled in NursingCAS (the Transcript Entry section) or that you send official transcripts to NursingCAS. You do still have to list your colleges attended, though.
Note -No transcripts to CAS means your NursingCAS application will never be "Verified" by NursingCAS, but that's OKAY.
Please make sure TWU has updated official transcripts of any non-TWU coursework you've completed."
So when nursingCAS told me I needed them, I ignored it because I assumed I should be following what TWU told me. Sorry if there is confusion, my point is that I was frustrated because my only goal was to get my application in correctly and on time so because there was a miscommunication I needed to know straight up what I was supposed to do and kept feeling like I was kept in the dark and I was hesitant to believe what i was being told by different people because I had really liked the previous advisors and found them super helpful and then all of a sudden all of them were gone with no explanation.
*Update* I received an email and spoke to someone on the phone and they were very clear that everything was received and that we should all be checking our emails for info in the coming weeks from advisors if they have questions. Good luck y'all I know everyone has worked really hard to get this far.

That's what I thought too, but when I told the advisor that I'm having issues getting any of my transcripts, she said I have until September 1st.
So I retook the teas on Monday at a psi center, on the printed form, they said it will take 48 hours from the time the exam is submitted to post the results, haven't yet gotten them. Please any ideas on what I can do now?
If it's not posted on your ATI home page then I would call ATI directly. Sorry I didn't take mine at a PSI center so I'm not familiar with how they do things. Best to you!!

If you email your TEAS score to [email protected] then you don't have to pay the $27 fee for ATI to send them! And you will be sending it directly to them so you won't have to worry about missing the deadline!
